alles krimi

Ich mache ein Experiment. Erstmals werde ich auf Deutsch schreiben und bitte um Entschuldigung vorweg. Ich kann zwar Deutsch aber nicht so gut wie Englisch. Ich bin zwei-sprachig aufgewachsen in Baltimore und Los Angeles - wir haben immer Deutsch gesprochen zu haus aber mit dem Schreiben ist es a biserl, na ja, wie soll ich sagen, eher schlecht. Also, wenn Euch das nix macht - da bin ich mit meinen Krimi Revues und sonst alles was mit Krimis zu tun hat.

Ich hoffe, es gefaellt denn ich meine es gibt Platz fuer bloggers wie mich um den Scheinwerferlicht auf gute Deutsch-sprachige Krimis zu leuchten.

Vienna is weird #1

I have a love/hate relationship with Vienna. More of a hate relationship actually. Even though I know some very nice people. Although, when I think about it, most of them aren't from Vienna. Let me think. Nope. Nobody I know is from Vienna. Except my mom. And she's dead.

There are many good things about Vienna: it's safe and quiet and orderly and clean and safe. Sound boring? You know what? It is boring. That's the problem. Vienna is boring. And the people are 'spiessig'. So was von spiessig, das geht gar nicht. 

One gets the feeling anybody who comes here comes here to be lazy. And complacent. And boring. See? I told you I hated the place.
